Common Hall Village 20 Update

Everything is coming together, and we couldn’t be more excited for the show’s opening on January 26. We have already started rehearsing with members of our unique and incredible cast which now includes powerhouse director Liesl Tommy (in a rare onstage appearance), the Talking Band’s Paul Zimet, actor and choreographer Jesse Perez, composer Paula Matthusen, and OZET mainstays Daniel “Space Monkey” Baker and “Cousin” Dave Hopkins. Our designers are closing in on final designs, film shoots begin in a couple weeks, our nightly tavern community has grown to 20 people (with many more to come), and we’re hard at work lining up two more cases of vodka.

We are into the home stretch of our fundraising campaign now, with just two weeks left to reach our $4,500 goal. Thanks to an incredibly enthusiastic response, we're in spitting distance. If you haven’t visited our fundraising page, though, please check it out and consider making a contribution. Donating is easy, contributions are tax-deductible, and we have a bunch of great perks to offer (including tickets to the show and the upcoming OZET Band EP). Thanks!

OZET Band

This Wednesday, July 20th, Scott and Aaron will join forces with Daniel (Space Monkey) Baker once again for the first-ever performance of OZET Band. The performance is by invitation only, but it looks like there may be room for a few more guests. If you're interested in attending, contact us at info@ozet.us.

OZET in Industry City

"What happened to the pig?" I said.
The man next to me looked disgusted.
"There is no pig," he said. (James Tate)

The Smuggler

"Hard to keep your hands clean when you've got to bury your stash."
A new OZET film inspired by the song.
